I’m a multi-disciplinary designer and art director from the south of Mexico living in Los Angeles.
I’m the creative force behind Studio Maria. I am an art nerd and curious day dreamer always looking for a new project to pour my soul into and a new stranger to chat with. Like you, I started my own business to do what I love, help others, and get paid for it.
My story: I discovered my love for branding and design while pursuing a degree in art direction for advertising in San Francisco. After navigating the corporate and startup worlds for a few years, I decided to go my own way. I’ve never looked back - after all, what’s better than working from home with your dog?
Over time, I realized my style and work didn't fit into conventional boxes. My designs aren't minimalistic or sterile; they're soulful yet sophisticated, culturally aware, and always authentic.
Studio Maria came to life in 2020 and has evolved alongside me. From L.A. to Mexico City and beyond, I've partnered with over 30 clients, building brands they're proud to showcase.
